The rapid growth of Oran Park has created more demand for elderly services. Anglicare invested $52m in the expansion of their Oran Park facility, which includes an 80-bed residential care home and 67 additional retirement living villas.
Our Solution
PON Projects worked closely with Anglicare Aged Care and their IT project team on the expansion at their Oran Park facility.

PON Projects installed a GPON network that delivers a wide variety of IP services to residents over a single, integrated fibre optic cable for this project.
The GPON cabling solution will manage the following services:- High speed Internet
- Voice using IP
- CCTV
- Wireless access points
- Nurse call
- Free-to-air TV+
The major benefit of the GPON installation is lower IT capital costs. Anglicare was able to significantly reduce the amount of cabling required for the expansion and saved money by constructing one communications room instead of two.
Anglicare Aged Care – Oran Park now have low cost, future-proof GPON technology that will become the hub for all future expansions.
